A friend of mine just got pregnant after 3 years of infertility treatments. Any gift ideas?

I want to get her a little congratulatory gift or something…but i have no idea what. Is it too soon to get her actual baby stuff? Should i get her a gift card to someplace? Or something for HER? She is waiting to tell people in case she miscarries or something, she knows that she’s not completely out of the woods yet, but I’d like to do SOMETHING as this is a huge deal for her. get something small like balloons and her favorite ice cream! its simple but lets her know you care and the ice cream is just telling her to start eating up lol

awww…you are a very good friend…my husband and i had 3 yrs of infertilty problems along with numerous surgeries and i am now pregnant with our first baby girl
such a blessing… im not sure what to get her but i know she will def appriciate whatever you get!

I would make her a care gift basket. With ginger tea,ginger candy(that helps with morning sickness) You can check out this link below it has some other nice things that would go well in the basket.

It is refreshing to see someone caring and considerate. You should get her something for herself. Trust me, everyone is going to be buying her baby stuff, but people rarely remember that Mom is still a person too!. As for what you get, that depends on your budget and her tastes. Does she like books? Music? Make it something frivolous that she wouldn’t buy herself! Mostly, just let her know that you are happy for her and there to be supportive!
