Can starting your period at age 10 contribute to infertility in later life?

TelomereGuru asked:

I started a couple weeks after my 10th birthday and am kinda worried that this will contribute to infertility. Does anybody know anything about this?

I have never heard of any woman say about it. ( I work in a nursing home with about 50 woman workers and even more residents)
I didnt start til I was 15. That could mean my body wasn’t ready or still isn’t ready like some one who started younger…going by what your worryed about.

No, probably not. Women are born with about a million eggs, so you’ll have plenty. What I would ask a doctor about, or your mom is P.C.O.S. when you get older. Do some research on that and watch yourself and eat carefully.

    Good luck!

For many years some women seem to do correlate to run out in their 30s others in their 50s it wont make difference your body can keep popping out those eggs every month for many years some studies linked to do with when you started however there have been some studies linked to various obgyn cancers which do with when.
